The three-day 100% Champagne Asia 2024 organized by Sparklingplus took place lately at W Hotel Shanghai. The champagne aficionados were captivated by the presence of EMW's partners, Champagne Drappier and Champagne Edouard Duval, in the champagne dinner, masterclass, and the grand tasting. In 2024, EMW announced a new champagne strategy and collaborated with our long-time partner, Sparklingplus, to begin a fresh chapter in the market and to introduce top-notch champagne houses to Chinese wine enthusiasts. EMW was thrilled to take part in 100% CHAMPAGNE, putting up all effort to present our fine champagnes.
Champagne Drappier presented three bottles of Reserve de L'Oenotheque Brut from the 2002, 2003, and 2004 vintages at the Zachys Auction of the Grand Champagne Dinner on May 24. The case was autographed by Charline, Hugo, and Antoine Drappier, the eighth generation of the Drappier family.
These three Reserve de L'Oenotheque Brut bottles, which emphasized Champagne Drappier's winemaking prowess and family heritage, eventually fetched a hefty RMB 16,000 in price.
Charline Drappier, the eighth generation of the Drappier family, received an invitation to the La Transmission - Femmes en Champagne Master Class on May 25. A group of women owners and leaders in Champagne, La Transmission Femme en Champagne was established in 2016 with the goal of demonstrating the dedication of women, sharing their love of fine wines and preserving the prosperity of Champagne.

Charline Drappier, one of the female owners in Champagne as well as members of the group, shared her work experience and insights. These ladies communicate, organize champagne tastings, and encourage and support each other. They create an environment of diversity that gives women in the wine industry courage and trust.

Hundreds of visitors came together to celebrate the annual champagne carnival in the afternoon of May 25, marking the launch of the Grand Tasting, the centerpiece of 100% Champagne Asia 2024.
At the grand tasting, EMW presented two exceptional champagne houses, Champagne Drappier and Champagne Edouard Duval, introducing Chinese champagne lovers to the superb terroir and elegance of the Côte des Bar.

The China Best Champagne List Awards Ceremony kicked off on the evening of May 25 at W Hotel Shanghai, with over 150 champagne house owners and representatives, leading sommeliers, restaurant representatives, media, and event partners and sponsors in attendance.
Champagne Drappier Carte d'Or Brut and Edouard Duval Blanc d'Eulalie Extra Brut sponsored the awards ceremony, and the guests were blown away by the exceptional quality and elegant palate of these two fine champagnes, making it an incredible sparkling night of champagne, when both the guests and the hosts thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
