East Meets West Fine Wines (EMW) is delighted to strengthen its strategic partnership with the famous Northern Rhone Valley producer Paul Jaboulet Aîné (PJA), becoming the brand’s core distributor in Hong Kong and Macau markets.
After 20 months’ cooperation in Mainland China starting from September 2018, the importer-distributor EMW announces the extension of its strategic partnership with the prestigious Northern Rhone Valley wine producer PJA to include Hong Kong and Macau markets, commencing May 8th, 2020. This new partnership includes EMW’s distribution of PJA’s full range in the territory, among which PJA’s Classic Range, Winegrowers’ Range, and back vintages of the iconic Domaine de Thalabert are under EMW’s exclusive distribution.
Rhône Valley, France
In 1834, a full 100 years before the introduction of the A.O.C. system, Antoine Jaboulet began to transform a sleepy region into one of the most important quality winegrowing terroirs in the world. Since that time, Paul Jaboulet Aîné has become the benchmark in the Northern Rhône, with the iconic Hermitage ‘La Chapelle’ being responsible for some of the greatest wines ever produced. Nowadays, the winery is led by the oenologist Caroline Frey.
The wines are produced with a view to preserving and enhancing soils. Paul Jaboulet Aîné applies meticulous vine cultivation in accordance with organic viticulture and following biodynamic practices, together with a cutting-edge winemaking respectful of the terroir typicity, identity and authentic taste. All estates (120 hectares) are now certified organic.
