Michel Drappier's Four Day Visit Review

Michel Drappier, the seventh generation and owner of Champagne Drappier, traveled to Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shanghai from October 13 to 16, when Michel presented masterclasses and dinners in partnership with East Meets West Fine Wines (EMW), Drappier's exclusive importer and distributor in Greater China. Through his China visit, the renowned champagne house showcased its distinct character and wine-making heritage to Chinese wine enthusiasts and industry experts in a more direct manner, thereby expanding its market engagement.

Despite the busy four-day and three-city trip, Michel expressed his appreciation for the allure of Chinese cuisine, particularly its abundant pairing options with champagne.

 

 

During the SommCat livestream, Michel remarked that this was his first time participating in a livestream. He talked about his joy in being able to contact and communicate with more young people over the Internet, thus expanding the champagne market.
